Management Team

LinkAmerica’s greatest strength is the depth, breadth and experience of its management team. Seasoned management teams of each LinkAmerica subsidiary are supported by a strong corporate team in sales, operations, safety / risk management, information systems and finance.

LinkAmerica’s Corporate Team:

Roger B. Collins, Chairman and CEO, age 52, graduated cum laude from Princeton University and subsequently obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School. In 1987, Mr. Collins brought this management team together backed by a group of venture funds to purchase Dalworth Trucking Company, a Texas dry van carrier. He has subsequently backed management teams in six additional transportation companies and provided consulting services to others.

Anthony D. Allen, Chief Financial Officer, age 53, graduated from Yale University in 1975. From 1975 until 1985, Mr. Allen held commercial lending positions at two prominent Tulsa banks. After joining Mr. Collins in 1987, Mr. Allen has held the position of chief financial officer for each of Mr. Collins’ transportation companies which formed the initial platform for LinkAmerica.

Todd Smith, President, age 43, graduate from Iowa State University with a degree in Transportation and Logistics. Mr. Smith joined LinkAmerica in 1998 as the VP of Sales and Marketing for LinkAmerica Corporation. He was promoted to President of LinkAmerica in the spring of 2007.

LinkAmerica Acquisition Strategy

LinkAmerica is acquiring regional truckload carriers that are strategically positioned in the markets they serve and that have proven track records of providing on-time, reliable delivery services.

LinkAmerica is also acquiring third-party logistics companies, which will complement the regional carriers by providing the following services for shipper customers: (i) complete or backup outsourcing for customers who desire to transfer all or part of their traffic departments to a third party; (ii) freight bill auditing; (iii) freight brokerage, (iv) returnable container management, (v) expedite services and (vi) public warehousing.
